Thomas Muster is an individual with whom specific characteristics, merits and virtues are associated and which have made him into a concept and a seal of quality.

Thomas Muster ranged from being famous to infamous and he was feared because he was always the strongest when he had his back to the wall.

Muster’s motto is that as long as one has not been beaten, one has not lost and this helped him considerably to overcome his serious injury, to deflect match balls en masse and to fight back again and again from assumed hopeless situations.

Muster’s trump cards were less the ace serves he delivered but more the consistency with which he prepared himself, the condition in which he fought for his success and the trust in his own strength under which time and time again even stronger players were crushed.

Muster used all his individual skills, either consciously or sub-consciously, to take fast and correct action at the right moment. What once in the past were the Big Points in tennis are now clear priorities on how he wants to shape his new life.

Muster has returned to tennis to set himself the new challenge of exchanging old fitness for new. He did not assume the role of Davis Cup Captain to be in the centre of things himself but much more to make use of his presence to show that the past again has a future in the in Austrian tennis.  

Muster was and is the epitome of total commitment and a hundred-percent dedication, which guarantees quality. In sport - as a tennis pro, as the Davis Cup Captain and in professional life as a several times’ entrepreneur. Always and everywhere with the objective, as in the past, of being a Number One who successfully moves forward against the competition.
